GREAT JADE.
I was born and raised on March 18, 1991 in beautiful Amsterdam and I became mother of Savion 4 years ago. I work as a Personal Trainer at Gymlab on the Westergasterrein.
Before starting my current career in sports, I worked in an office for 10 years. After growing into a project manager, I had my affairs in order: ‘I knew the deal’.
In 2016 I became pregnant with my son Savion. As with many, this was a clear turning point in my life. Even though I had my work life in order, the question of whether office work made me happy was nagging. Because did ‘I know the deal’ mean that I was also happy with this deal? With my job I went either to my child or to the office and I had little time left.
I haven’t thought long about a career switch to work that makes me intrinsically happy. Because how wonderful it is that as a Personal Trainer I can share my passion and knowledge for exercise with others. So with you!
After completing my studies, I specialized as a pre- and postnatal trainer. I help clients with aesthetic goals, remedy pain complaints and guide pregnant and postpartum women. My training focuses a lot on technique and mobility.
If you don’t move your body as intended, you are mopping with the tap open. It often goes well for a long time and then suddenly not anymore.
People often think that something has happened that causes them to get complaints. Unfortunately, you often see that the complaints arise from years of incorrect use and movement of the body.
My training sessions are goal-oriented, focused, thoughtful and above all fun.
Training can also be fun people! If my customers walk out the door happy and satisfied and have come a little closer to their goal, I have done my job well.
